Midnight Flower Drala
Midnight Flower is the second release of Drala, the colorful pairing of guitarist/composer/producer David Nichtern (creator of the classic song Midnight At The Oasis) and master bansuri flute player Steve Gorn.
Drala created a strong following in the yoga and world-fusion communities with their first self-titled release. Midnight Flower represents a further evolution of the aesthetic and trajectory of this exciting band. The music keeps close to its roots, with its spaciousness and instrumental lushness, but it often bubbles into driving grooves and melodic hooks, crossing the boundaries between world music, fusion, and pop.
"Drala translates the beautiful mosaic of the mind into inherently listenable and cool music. Featured vocalist Falguni is a marvel."
