"If a hunger comes"
If a hunger comes into your body I will run to my soul's garden and bring you heavens and earths.

About Hafiz Hafiz was a 14th century Persian mystical poet known for his ecstatic poems that blend the concepts of human love and mystical union with God. Although little is known with great certainty about his life, there are many legens surrounding him. It is said that, by listening to his father's recitations, Hāfiz had accomplished the task of learning the Qur'an by heart. The translations on these greeting cards are by Daniel Ladinsky, the author of The Gift - Poems by Hafiz, The Subject Tonight is Love: 60 Wild and Sweet Poems of Hafiz, and Love Poems From God - Twelve Sacred Voices From The East And West.
