Santosha is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning contentment. At Santosha.com we understand that nothing that we sell can provide true contentment. But we are dedicated to providing you with the finest yoga, meditation, spiritual, wellness and holistic living supplies to support your life's journey. Santosha.com had its beginnings with a vegetarian restaurant established in 1977 (Santosha Vegetarian Dining) and a bookstore specializing in books on spirituality, philosophy and conscious living (Moksha Bookshop) that opened a year later. The website was launched in 1996 which was the early days of the World Wide Web. Our continued growth and expansion into the 21st Century has resulted in a new line of Yoga and Meditation supplies: Santosha Essentials® and Santosha Organics®.

Amber Lotus Publishing is a small publishing company located in Berkeley, CA. Their excellent greeting/note cards are printed on recycled paper with soy-based inks and feature beautiful images and inspiring text. We carry their Yoga Shakti, Daily Zen, Dancing Dharma, Hafiz' Gifts of Love, TAO Series, and Celtic Mandala greeting cards.
Baieido Incense
The finest Japanese incense for the incense connoisseur. The Baieido company dates back to the Muromachi period (1338-1573) in Japanese history. During this period, the founder of Baieido, Kakuuemon Yamatoya, became a wholesaler of medicinal herbs in Sakai city. Sakai was a well-known trading port in ancient Japan in which incense trading was in high demand. At Baieido they continue to protect the secret formulas of their ancestral forefather Jinkoya Sakube. The Unemployed Philosophers Guild
The Unemployed Philosopher’s Guild began in 1992 when two students of philosophy found their inner creativity in the midst of a dwindling academic job market. As it turned out, fulfilling gift giving needs proved to be almost as satisfying as probing eternal questions. Though they still contemplate justice and truth, it is also their wish to fulfill the gift giving needs of the funny & sophisticated everywhere!
