Shiva, the archetypal Yogi, sits smiling and serene, deeply absorbed in meditation with Mount Kailash, high in the Himalayas, as a backdrop. His trident (trishul), a symbol of his all-encompassing power, is stuck into the ground next to him. Around his neck is a snake (ananta) a symbol of eternity and his matted hair holds the flowing Ganges River.This lovely statue is executed in an ivory-like resin with the finest detail and stands 3" high.
